When you put people in the picture (they're in the background), it gives you a perspective of just how massive one "smaller" section of the place is compared to what google maps shows.

the infield at the speedway is WAAAY bigger... those figures are what the stands hold... which aren't going to be used i don't think for EDC. |

they have seating for 156k i thought....either way, it is a huge space...gotta think they have parking for more than 40k also, so maybe some of that is going to be uses also |

I believe Cool is right about this. My understanding through everything I've seen/heard is that all 6 stages will be inside the walls of oval, with paths to get down there from the stands.
The stands will be open for seating as well. Its noted on the ticket website.
