| Awesome event! Great vibe all around. Congrats Vegas on landing this event. EVERYTHING in Vegas was sold out. Our $39 room went for $499 just before the event. Vegas cleaned up. Speedway is a great venue. Way better than Exposition Park. Reminded my a little of the playa. LA screwed themselves. To all the naysayers constantly spouting crap before the event, Insomniac just screwed you mom while you watched. |

Nah, from what I heard it was another generic Insomniac event full of douches and etards.
To even compare EDC to BM is blasphemy! |

It sounds like it was fun, but the lineup just wasn't worth the cost to me. And I haven't heard anybody mention any mind-blowing DJ sets, except for maybe Umek.
Not all of us can afford to travel to another city for a massive or pay huge prices for a ticket to an event when the lineup isn't even announced. Also no open bar for VIP? In VEGAS? Lame.
A&B and Armin's sets from EDC last year were insanely memorable, and I wasn't even there. Was the main stage at this one like last year's (production-wise)? I haven't seen many pics. Last year's main stage was nuts. |

the stage itself literally was bigger... but it only held 40,000 people. i'm 100% positive the Colisuem could do at least 60K as a guess (it holds 92K in the stands alone for football). |

Keep hearing the event was fun, but yeah not worth the costs. Other than from GPC it seems. :) |
not sure how but we ended up spending very little $ and had a blast. booked the room early so got a jr. suite at Palms place for $150 a night on average + fees. Drove out there with a full car so gas cost wasn't too much. Ate 1 meal a day (lol). Biggest cost was probably water/powerade/beer and mixed drinks we drank at the party. i'd guess the 4 of us spent maybe $1,500 total???
i'd consider going back.... depends on the lineup.
temps were fine at the event. only real issue was the shuttle lines at the end of the night was long... that improved the 2nd night but still took 50-55 minutes to get on our bus and i think another 45 minutes to get back to the hotel.... it only too 20-30 minutes to get there when going to the event. |

| The move to Vegas was great. Of course the expenses were a lot higher, but the crowd felt overall more mature, and a lot of the scum that you see at the LA and NOS Center massives weren't there. |
