me too. Vegas means traveling for a lot of broke-ass kids.

^^ this... they went from having a party in the #1 EDM location in the US with 20+ million residents to a much smaller area that people have to pay $$$ to attend (for hotels, gas, etc.) for the weekend instead of just driving to the venue each day. Will be interesting to see they turnout to say the least...

Only the first batch is sold out, if you click to buy more Fri and Sat tickets it says that there will be more available on Monday the 25th. So ya it's just a sales tactic.

less hoodlums that's for sure!

last year we saw one group of shady-looking guys selling tickets... some other shady-looking guy walked up, grabbed some tickets and ran off... so the original group of guys chased him down and put a beatdown on the dude right in front of the entrance to the ticket area! Though can't blame them in a way lol....

Well, considering the one day passes (at least for day 1 and 2) are sold out, I think it'll be just fine.

My first reaction is that Insomniac only made a small number of tix available for Day 1 and Day 2 in order to (1) pressure people to buy VIP, (2) create a greater urgency for buying tix when the next batch was made available ("OMG I better get my ticket NOW before they really sell out"), and/or (3) more easily justify raising the GA ticket price (the first, very small batch of tickets were at the lowest price... the next, bigger batch may cost more.)

I remember when a bunch of tickets were made available at the last minute for A&B at the Palladium last December. The tickets could have been released earlier, but not releasing them during the first day of sales created a huge demand for them just before the event (~$85/ticket on groovetickets just before the event, up from ~$65 when the last GA ticket was sold during the first day of sales).

Yeah, I'm sure there won't be any scalpers or "shady" people outside of an event this big.

i'm not saying there won't be zero people like that lol... but less IMO than last year. and i don't consider scalpers to be shady.... it just happened to be some thugs/gang members selling a few tickets in this particular situation...

I guess the speedway being removed a bit from the main part of LV will help the shadiness level
