I think a lot of us are comparing EDC 2011 to EDC from the past few years when tickets were ~$50-60 for one day and the event was much closer (for most of us). I imagine you will hear less complaining next year when people are used to the idea of EDC being in Vegas.

wont hear less complaining from those of us who care about the music until they decide to get their together and release lineups in a timely fashion

which will never happen... so.... yeah...

Wishful thinking. Insomniac isn't going to release any names and they're going to keep doing this until people stop going or a rival promoter breaks out onto the scene and stops this ridiculous practice. I hope you read this Pasquale:

such hate! lol... its just a party! take a chill pill!

i'm sure if you buy a 3-day pass today and don't like the lineup you can sell it for around the same amount you paid for it...

Insomniac is laughing at your asses right now. Why? they can put a turd on the decks and thousands will show up. As for tech/deep house.. what is this the 90's? Keep following these jackass promoters...2013 EDC Alaska..! When has anyone ever got an Insomniac promoter to ask what the customer thinks>?....ZZZZ...All these lineups lack one thing, energy. When the much hated EDM collides with hip hop.. this is what you get.. A diluted EDM. ..weak sauce.

only people impressed by this crap is the youngling.. just getting into the scene.

Last night tickets went on sale for Deadmau5 at the Pavillion. They were only $33!!!! $50 after all the fee bull. But the ticket says it's ELECTRONIC NATION. Who are they? Never heard of them. But, if this would've been an Insomniac show, tickets would've started at $50. I'm sure Deadmau5 is expensive right now because he's pretty high on demand, but these promoters managed to keep tickets at reasonable prices. That's awesome. Unless Insomniac is now doing events under a different name or Deadmau5 himself is doing the show.

I see Live Nation. 2 days in LA 8/25,26. At the Palladium.
