| Sarah Palin makes me physically ill. The crowd behind her is actually making me vomit violently. |

WRONG. It was five. Don't argue semantics on hydrocarbons if you can't get basic facts right. |
yea.. I'm guessing Sukhoi was confusing the number with the number of homes McCain owns |

Well he didn't and McCain did, it does make him more fit to be Commander in Chief.
I don't want my Commander in Chief getting captured and eating chop suey for 5 years while my economy tanks, you know? |
You're ridiculous. You wouldn't be too worried about the economy if bombs started falling in your back yard |

Biden wins according to CNN poll:
51% to 36% (of people who watched the debate)
And she's still not qualified according to the polls either. |

You're unbelievable.
Do you understand the fundamentals of terrorism? Like, at all?
Do you know why there haven't been any attacks since 9/11?
It's because of American culture and how it shapes the lifestyles of it's citizens.
Muslims in Europe and even here in Canada, do not assimilate like they do in the United States, in the USA they assimilate almost ENTIRELY into American culture in order to succeed and thrive, therefore the biggest threat of terrorism (HOME GROWN TERRORISM) is reduced astronomically. |

Biden turned it on toward the end. He barely surmised a draw on the economy though. He came out flat, and Palin had about 8 memorized talking points that she just repeated incessantly. According to the pundits, apparently that suffices as exceeding expectations. Yay America.
The second half of the debate is where things got very telling. Palin repeated the blatant lie about Obama raising taxes on $42,000/year families... she also blatantly lied about Biden supporting John McCain's Iraq policy... Biden has been very much out on his own on Iraq, so I don't know where she's getting that information from... maybe all those Lou Dobbs she reads.
The last half hour was painful to watch though. Biden is the Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and he exuded experience and pragmatism on foreign policy. Palin evaded almost every question - did she say anything meaningful on Darfur or Afghanistan? All she has is SURGE! SURGE! SURGE!
Oh, and when she referenced the Afghanistan commanding General as "McClellan"... yeah, that's not his name. Which may explain why she also completely misquoted him (he actually did come out against surge tactics in Afghanistan and warned that NATO is losing there).
On points, Biden slaughtered her. On "connecting" with addle-minded voters that haven't been paying attention, it's probably a draw. Though it's interesting to note that the voter positive reactions were highest during Biden's segments.
In any case, this is all moot, because with McCain drawing all of his resources out of Michigan and putting them into North Carolina and Virginia... this election is just about a done deal. Finally. |

All I know is if bombs start falling and I need to either not die or not get captured, I certainly wouldn't trust John McCain's advice. |

| hehehe... Jeffrey Toobin on CNN just said "well it was obvious that Sarah Palin doesn't know John McCain's stances on issues as well as Joe Biden does." |
