It's not morse code. Morse code would require him to keep his eyes closed for an extended period of time. It's a tap code that POW's used to communicate with each other when the Vietnamese prohibited them from talking. It was particularly popular at the "Hanoi Hilton".
They used it through knocking on cell walls, coughing, blinking, etc. Military personnel are taught this code in survival school and resistance training.
His message, summarized? Basically that it's unfortunate that a significant amount of Obama's supporters are wrapped up in all the hype, and excited about all the nice promises he's making. I think he also mentioned that Rob Turner's mom is a prostitute. I wasn't really certain how that was relevant to the debate. |

If anything, he tried desperately to convince people of this - and failed miserably because Obama had a response grounded in specific, citable fact to every ty accusation McCain threw at him, and this is something even the most die hard of republicans have admitted today.
If anything, he only showed that Obama has thought about his economic and foreign policy far more than McCain has himself, and that beyond outright lies, buzzwords, and absurd accusations about Joe the (unlicensed so I'm not even a) plumber he really had little substance to offer anyone.
Really you have to be quite daft or simply a committed troll to be drinking the McCain Kool Aid anymore. |
