There is a difference between Kerry and Gore.
Neither of them had quite as substantial a lead at this point I don't think.
Neither of them were dominating an issue that was off the charts in importance to the American people.
The closest thing were Bush' scare tactics in the 2004 election.
And lets not forget that Clinton pecker slapped Bush in all the debates and went on to win quite safely! |
I know I just though it was an interesting point of view. |

A TV commentator one of these days was saying Gore had a big advantage at a point, and only lost it because of performing badly in a debate.
I have no idea if this is true or not because I wasn't following it closely back then. |

It's gotta be damn exciting. One of my very close family friends - known him since I was 10 - is a spokesman for - the Obama campaign. :) I only found this out on Sunday, when I saw his name in a CNN article, discussing some crap Palin had said. Sadly we have lost touch over the years but it's the kind of friendship that you never lose, regardless if you lose touch at some point. I just hit him up on Facebook the other day. |

I'm sad Sukhoi29SU seems to have lost interest in being the new spacechica.
Maybe that means spacechica will make a comeback. |

Jeffsbianosaur, realistically - what do you think it would take, barring the worst, for McCain to turn things around right now?
How do you think the Republicans could go about winning this election? |
