considering this was supposed to be mccain's strongest subject, i thought obama did well. and good lord they did a lot of smirking. obama a decent amount, but holy . when they'd split screen them while obama was talking, mccain looked like he was listening to sarah palin speak

agreed, I think Obama surprised a lot of people by holding his own on the foreign policy front. I was kind of concerned when McCain was talking about Russia, I thought he would come out on top in that light. Obama made a great response to it.
Holy can you imagine Biden and Palin.. WTF

I think I'm going to stay sober for that one. I want to vividly remember the epic lulz that will happen in that debate :gsmile:

Just thought of something - you know how they switched the VP debate format to a "question and answer from the moderator" type rather than the direct candidate-to-candidate type.. I think this is probably a good thing for Biden too, since I can see a likely possibility of him being speechless after Palin's answer on most things. I mean there are things she says where, it's like, a flash back to Beavis & Butthead. And it's like, uhh.. yeah.

I liked the hilary palin one the week before more. Did you catch that by any chance?

I didn't think this could possibly be true... but it appears the worst Palin moment is still to come:

Of concern to McCain's campaign, however, is a remaining and still-undisclosed clip from Palin's interview with Couric last week that has the political world buzzing.
The Palin aide, after first noting how "infuriating" it was for CBS to purportedly leak word about the gaffe, revealed that it came in response to a question about Supreme Court decisions.
After noting Roe vs. Wade, Palin was apparently unable to discuss any major court cases.
There was no verbal fumbling with this particular question as there was with some others, the aide said, but rather silence.
