I tell her that I expect McCain to croak in office, thus leaving Palin in power to send us straight to the ter. My grandmother loses it again, saying she's "for the people" and has plenty of experience to run this country. I asked her, "Really? You think that jumping so fast from 9,000 people to an entire country qualifies as experience?" And she thought so.
She says that Obama flips on a lot of issues, and when I pointed out various other Republicans who have flipped, she just goes, "Yeah, so?"

I take comfort in the fact that my mother (I think you've read what I've said about her, right?) just nodded her head and laughed when I told her that her mom was bat insane. Perhaps I can persuade one person to do right. |

you'd be surprised how far that isnt from the truth. We arent as tight as we were with Russia. Iran wants Israel wiped off the face of the earth, Iran wants Russia on its side, Russia isnt afraid or is pretty indifferent about another cold war... all spells trouble for the U.S. |
