I think he was just getting defensive there at being called an idiot and was having a knee jerk reaction. I know it has happened to me before and I apologize.
He got enough fair chances several (dozen) pages earlier in the thread to justify his assertions with fact.
He didn't, and rather than acknowledge that he couldn't, more and more absurd claims were made adding to the immense pile of bull he had already levied upon this thread.
I imagine most folks with half a clue wouldn't have dug their heels into such deep so stubbornly.

No, it's misleading in another way: a person who devotes a lot of his time to serious intellectual study in science or wherever can still easily have half-assed, ill-formed ideas about things that he hasn't thought much about, such as politics.
Now you're acting like people don't resort to becoming elementary school teachers because they couldn't hack the mathematics involved in getting the degree they actually wanted, but that they do it because they love having a dead end job babysitting a bunch of other people's kids.

Can we say that people can have different ideas and opinions without one of them being an idiot?

Again, would you please cite the bull you spit out? Whoever brought community organizing into the debate about Sarah Palin. Your candidate is comparing her professional career to the first job Barack Obama got out of college... you don't see the absurdity in that, or you've just got your partisan blinders on?
Again with your silly "partisan" wisecracks. You are a partisan for your side, obviously. Palin is giving her whole story, about where she started out and where she is today. Plenty of people on the left have attacked her for being a mayor of a small town... you seriously need me to provide links for that? I say, you should actually listen to the rhetoric of the left because it's all over the place! But since you're such a skeptic I'll give you one link... you can stray outside your media comfort zone and find others yourself http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonat...Palin_pick.html

Though, to be fair, the city council nearly voted to hold a referendum on recall. Now that's an executive after the heart of the people.
"Nearly"...lol. Like how Gore "nearly" won the presidency in 2000, but actually didn't so it doesn't matte? Hell, Clinton won the presidency in '92 with 43% of the vote... yet you democrats still suck his balls to this day even though he was "nearly" thrown out of office after getting impeached. Nearly means nothing.

He doesn't need to.
Because he can't! If he could have, he would have. I already explained that Rudy said "no piece of legislation to really speak about", which was meant to talk down to the few and far between pieces he has. It didn't mean he "never" sponsored legislaiton. Keep nitpicking that one to death.

You're an idiot incapable of differentiating between a campaign and a blogger. Oh, neat. You're a misogynist too.

And McCain... has?
Uh, yeah... when he was commanding his squadron while actually being in the ing military.

I hope you wrote this to be deliberately absurd.

It isn't my fault that is how things work. Really can't claim it as my own opinion though because I ripped it from a friend who has a masters in education and is appalled at the amount of elementary school teachers who turned to it as a last resort.
I do like being deliberately absurd though.

Absolutely.
It isn't differing opinions that makes me feel someone is an idiot, it's why they have them.

No, they can't. they ignore fact, which they are still doing even when i provide links and explination. They just call out "liar" and "idoit" while providing very little evidence themselves. They choose to be so entrenched in their narrative, than you could tell them Palin has a vagina and they'd call you a liar and demand proof. I for one, actually respect other people having a differing opinion... I only get fiesty when the personal attacks start against me. But these s have nothing but a pathetic anger for people in a personal way that they don't even know, because they don't subscribe to THEIR line of thinking. They don't even realize how they come across.

OK I'll go with my own life experience of being better at mathematics than all of my elementary school teachers even though I was a small child at the time.
UWM
I actually wouldn't mind pics of proof of Palin's vag TBH

In other words, you didn't read any of the legislation I posted.
And again, you fail to see the absurdity of comparing Sarah Palin's career path with Obama's first job out of college. In all honesty, if you want to make an accurate comparison, you should be comparing Sarah Palin's internship with the Anchorage news station's sports department with Obama's job helping the South Side of Chicago.
But that wouldn't really help you to make an honest comparison, would it?

Well, very few of my elementary teachers struck me as people who would otherwise have been doing physics, so this sounds like off-the-cuff BS to me, but who knows.
Not that many people "actually want" hard science degrees in the first place anyway, at least in my experience.
The idea that the earth would be populated by physicists and chemists if only everybody weren't so dumb -- because hard science is the only thing people actually like -- is absurd.
