| quote: | Now Biden Gets in on the Act
From FirstRead ...
"All of the things they said about Barack Obama in the TV, on the TV, at their rallies, and now on YouTube ... John McCain could not bring himself to look Barack Obama in the eye and say the same things to him ... In my neighborhood, when you've got something to say to a guy, you look him in the eye and you say it to him."
After the election, in the interests of national reconciliation, I imagine Obama and Biden may allow McCain to make special non-custodial visits to his testicles.

from another board... is this true?
| quote: | just watched abc news, and charlie gibson interviewed mccain.
McCain said that he needs to help out the person who over spent but the ones who are responsible will be stuck with their old mortgage.
so........
if your house is now worth 250k and you owe 400k you are stuck.
BUT if you overspent or are in trouble, you go with a new loan for 250k , what the house is worth.
so if both houses are worth 250k; you will still have your 400k mort. and your neighbor will have a new 250 mort.

More or less exactly what I'm worried about :
| quote: | As two major developments become increasingly likely - a Democratic presidential victory on November 4 and a sustained economic crisis - Barack Obama faces a difficult choice: does he begin now to prepare the electorate for tough times, or does he continue to maintain a politically contrived optimism on the assumption that he can shift gears after election day.
The short-term incentives are all on the side of maintaining a happy face: As things stand, Obama keeps moving ahead in the polls, winning debates and expanding his hold on battleground states. Why junk a winner?
Conversely, Obama and his aides have to calculate how the rhetoric of his campaign will influence his ability to govern. On this score, there is wide disagreement, with political scientists, strategists and political analysts - in responses given to the Huffington Post - all over the map. |

Maybe that means spacechica will make a comeback. |
Yeah? And I'm sad that 20 some years ago your dad decided to stick his dick in your mom's vagina without the use of any contraceptives.
I occasionally revisit this thread, although it is usually short lived. I'm relatively sensitive and easily frustrated by the overwhelming support for Obama, and socialism for that matter, by quite a few idiots that don't know what they're talking about. You are included in this group, Rob. I mean, "RJT".
Lebezniatnikov is one of a select few in here that seems well rehearsed in politics. I just hope that the confidence in his predicted election results isn't justified. I do believe there is quite a bit of deserved support for McCain, and often the forecast on the news isn't accurate. I'm almost as terrified of Obama becoming president as I am of people like you becoming a parent to an innocent kid. |

So basically you're playing the "I'm going to stick my fingers in my ears, close my eyes, and repeatedly yell 'I'M NOT LISTENING'" card, which is really par for the course.
Once again, just because you say something doesn't make it true, and your inability to listen to anyone who disagrees with you is your own fault - this could have never even become an issue, but you came into this thread insinuating anyone who supported Obama was supporting terrorism, you came into this thread playing the propaganda card (repeatedly), and you are the one who is choosing to live in ignorance - none of the people in whatever group you think you've found here.
Your outbursts have been absurd, and you have been treated the way you deserved to be treated after conducting yourself the way you have here. How on earth you can reasonably think that you've been treated unfairly or that you haven't been presented with evidence that directly contradicts 100% of your ridiculous assertion is beyond me.
So please feel free to continue to stick your head in the sand and scream "No fair." Nobody's listening. |
