Good for you, now McCain can say what exactly? That it took Obama a really long time to admit that it worked?
Obama was wise enough to know that entering Iraq in such a grand fashion was a complete mistake. 3000 (or is it more now?) + lives have been lost and so have billions of dollars that could have been used for domestic projects as well as the war in Afghanistan which British Generals are now saying cannot be won outright. |

you all always reference the lives that have been lost... 3000+.. yeah, ok. How about the ones that have been saved? Do you ever consider that? |

Who's lives?
You mean all the "collateral" the US military have killed?
Yes I don't blame the US military for this, as they are following orders and innocents are lost in war, obviously.
But they didn't need to be.
This war was managed poorly and the results are only starting to come about and at a snail's pace.
Even daddy Bush knew how to run a war, but given McCain supports Bush Jr.'s style of management, I can't concede the point that this war has helped anyone. |

That article sites a UN report that it doesn't name.
On top of that, I agree that Saddam was awful and should have been removed.
Are you telling me the all powerful USA needs 250,000 soldiers to take out one man?
They've changed regimes before without anywhere near that much effort, so I don't see how any of that article shows how the invasion force was needed.
Also, stop googling these articles without reading them, because you'll continue to get served by people like me who actually read them through and do 5 minutes of fact checking. |

Well, that's a limitation of yours that, to me, is very sad and unfortunate. |

You do realize that there were no terrorists setting off bomb after bomb before there were 250,000 soldiers in Iraq right? |
