And here it is, for all you Debate Party maniacs –
Your official Drinking Game Initiative:
TAKE A SHOT (or a sip or however you do what you do) WHENEVER:
-Biden uses the phrase “more of the same”
-Palin refers to John McCain or herself as “mavericks”
-Biden refers to Palin’s “inexperience”
-Palin says “I don’t know what that means” or “I’ll have to get back to you on that one”
-Palin uses some quaint Dan Rather-like colloquialism that makes no sense
-Either one of them talks about their kids or their sons serving in the military
-Either one pretends to know anything about the economy or offer solutions to the current meltdown
-The voting record of Obama or McCain is mentioned
-If the topic of discussion turns to energy, energy independence, or drilling for oil off-shore and in the North Slope of Alaska
-If the “bridge to nowhere” is mentioned
-If the term “community organizer” is mocked by Palin
-If Biden mocks the town of Wasilla or Alaska in reference to Palin’s credentials
-If the foreign policy credentials of either one becomes a topic of debate
-If either one of them lays claim to their running mate ”reaching across the aisle”
-It’s a social if someone mentions a moose!
-Drink whatever is left if Biden loses his cool, steps down from the podium, and looks like he might walk across the stage and smack Palin across the face. |
There's just no way you can keep up with a list like this. :p |

Hehe, my friends and I usually add on. It's only an hour and a half long... but things like "Rusher" and "hockey" and "lipstick" must be added as well. |

| quote: | Program Note: Governor Sarah Palin said you can actually see Russia from an island in Alaska. Our Gary Tuchman went to find this island… Watch his full report tonight on AC360.
Gary Tuchman | BIO
AC360 Correspondent
When talking about what she says is her foreign policy experience, Sarah Palin told ABC news “…you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”
That quote made us want to go to that island.
So we did.
The island is called Little Diomede. It looks like a rock plopped into the Bering Strait. Only about 150 Alaskans live on the whole island. And just about two miles away; in full view of every single house on the island is the nation of Russia. Specifically, it is the Russian Island of Big Diomede which sits about 25 miles from the Russian Siberian mainland (which you can also see from the American island.) Most everybody on Little Diomede had relatives who lived on Big Diomede.
But decades ago, the Russian government sent them all to the mainland, and today, Big Diomede is limited to a Russian military presence. It’s also a full day in front of Little Diomede because it’s on the other side of the International Date Line. Little Diomede is fascinating. It looks like the moon would if you built a lunar settlement. It’s full of rocks, dirt, and craters. We were curious if Sarah Palin has ever visited this island. According to the natives, the answer is no.
As a matter of fact, no Alaska governor in the state’s nearly 50 year history has ever visited the remote outpost that still has little running water. We were curious what the Little Diomeders thought about Palin’s claim of foreign policy experience because of the proximity of Siberia. Interestingly, many of these Alaskans had no idea who Sarah Palin was! It turns out they have no TV on the island, and therefore, many don’t follow the news.
The island’s mayor has heard of her though. No American mayor resides in a city closer to Russia than Andrew Milligrock, and he says being two miles from Russia doesn’t give him any foreign policy expertise.
He does say she seems like an okay governor, but exclaims she should probably pay a visit to Little Diomede sometime. It may not help her foreign policy experience says the mayor, but would definitely help her domestic policy experience. We hope you’ll watch our story about this most unique American island tonight on AC360. |

John McCain made the wrong decision when he named Sarah Palin as his running mate. I assume he was trying to feed off of the energy generated and the support garnered by Hillary Rodham Clinton in her bid for the White House and to secure the woman vote. Sarah Palin is in a league in which she has no business and it is evident that she doesn’t have the trust of Senator McCain. I am supporting the McCain/Palin ticket simply for their stance on same sex marriage and abortion. However, Gov. Palin has the deer in the headlights look when it comes to foreign policy and McCain doesn’t seem to connect with main stream citizens when it comes to domestic/economic policies. It is my belief that the moral fabric of our country has to decayed to the point of no return. Our government has left us behind to flounder in the muck and the mire of their decisions over the last few decades. The only thing on which we can always rely and the only way we can survive is to have faith that God loves the people who accept Jesus as their savior and he will always provide for us no matter how difficult the world becomes to live in. Therefore it is my opinion that all of our elected officials are falible and we can’t rely on any of them to put our interests first. Our country must turn to God now; He is the only answer. Not only is my opinion but it is also the promise made to us by God. May God bless America. |
