My mistake. But he was the first president born an American citizen.
Spacechica, OBAMA IS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN!! |
right, but the fact that there are discrepancies regarding where he was born and that he won't come forward and dismiss the concerns fully (if they want the hospital certificate, give it to them... if they want the one you have in your hands, give it to them...) that's what mccain did and noone said anything about how mccain's might be a fraud... you know how easy it is to have a birth certificate verified even if it is a fake? just because factcheck.org says it's legitimate, is it really?
why would obama's paternal grandparents claim he was born in kenya, and even his maternal grandmother has claimed it as well...
let's say obama was in fact born in kenya... even if his mother was a us citizen and happened to be one year younger than the age necessary for obama to qualify as a natural-born citizen, it still makes him and his campaign look untrustworthy for trying to skirt around the big issue...
of course, if you want the constitution to be changed, then i understand how you think that's irrelevant...
this just paints a more complete picture of the obama/biden campaign... connections with ayers, controversy with rev. wright, a possible fake birth certificate, a weird talk of pleasing the jewish voters (i mean, since when were jewish people singled out? to me, jewish people are white people)... while completely different by nature, it makes me think of oj simpson and how he thought he was above the law...
just the other day i was walking in the mall and some guy, who happened to be black, was walking around with a personally-made t-shirt that read, "I AM classic." the classic part was in calligraphy... i guess to make fun of people who think they're classy... i mean, if it's a pro obama t-shirt, i could see how the t-shirt sends the message that republicans don't care about middle class americans...he noticed me at the opposite end of the mall and half an hour later, while i was browsing a store at the complete other opposite side, he came right near me and was almost spying on me... looking at what brands i was browsing and he obviously knew who i was... |

There are allegations the above isn't true, but Obama produced his birth certificate for inspection by the press and by a few lawyers and everything was shown to be legit. That happened waaaaaaaaay back during the primaries though - I'm a bit surprised to see this topic revived again... but then again, we're talking about you-know-who bringing it up. |

Give it a rest. He was born in the United States (Hawaii), produced his birth certificate for scrutiny, and this issue was dismissed over a year ago as baloney. |

You actually think that the courts will declare Obama ineligible because he's supposedly not a natural born citizen due to a technicality stemming from some antiquated law that was struck out of the books 25 years ago?
It ain't happening |
