Interesting that I just saw this from Bill Maher's show on Friday. Sounds strikingly like what Allen Raymond, former Republican operative and author of How to Rig an Eleection" is talking about at 6:17 as to what we should be looking out for.

The fact that Obama has made it this far demonstrates the collective lack of discriminative intelligence and education of this country.

That wasn't even an article - it was a comment on this posting:
Good lord - you went to college, much less a decent one?

Can someone please link me to the article that states that a black candidate would need, at least, a 15% lead to win presidency?
I think I saw it on TA but I frequent way too many places, nowadays, to keep track.
Thanks in advance.

100 000+ people show up to see Obama and ~4000 for McCain. Be wary if this is considered "too close to call".
Then again, those who support McCain are clearly the real 'mericans:

"He's a stupid bum!"

Anyway....voting is not compulsory. Turn out at rallies is therefore largely irrelevant when it comes down to voting day.
I do hope you're right though because if McCain gets elected...:nervous:

"He's a nig*er!" shouted at Palin rally.
It happens at the 39 second mark here. Palin starts fumbling her speech afterward so you know she heard it.
And don't forget the repeated calls of "terrorist!" at nearly every Mccain rally...and the "Kill Him!" scream at 13 seconds here.. Again, it is obvious from Mccain's reaction that he heard, yet he does nothing other than grimace..
Why don't Mccain/Palin call these people out and ask them to leave? I'm guessing because they know these are a huge chunk of their base...and without the support of crazy racists and rednecks, they would be even further behind in the polls.
