I sure feel ripped off for coming from a lower-middle class family in western PA, sinking myself over $60K in loan debt in order to get an Ivy League education. Maybe it's that fact that makes me despise Republican politics the most for refusing to acknowledge that we deserve better than your next-door neighbor or the "guy you want to have a beer with" to run the country.
But we all know that Obama had the world handed to him on a silver platter and that he and Michelle were legacy trust fund kids at Columbia, Princeton and Harvard.
Seriously, don't you people have any desire to have people who are better than you run the country? People who understand you, but are more intelligent than you and upon reflection, are trying to implement positive change in your life?
To be honest, it's the attitudes like I see coming from the Republican party that inhibit very positive candidates from ascending to high office. |
Very good point indeed.I dont know thats with the whole attitude of he cant be a good president because he is better then the average population,or the whole elitist argument.I woud love to have a well educated leader with good underestading of politics and not some in hillbilly from the farm.
You had 8 years of Bush who is be far the biggest idiot in the world.wasnt that enought already?
I rally dont get the American mentality sometimes.they would rather have a nobody running their nation. |

Two questions:
1)why arent we seeing any in coverage whatsoever on any of the large protests that are happening during the Convension?I only saw a few seconds coverage the most.
2)I asked this already, but I would like to know who the woman that got kicked out of the stadium was?what did she do? |
Because the corporate media has advertising dollars to worry about. They don't care about the news or journalism for that matter. All it is is, "How can we attract the largest amount of viewers so we can sell them to our advertisers." News coverage comes a distant second to that primary goal. And corporate advertisers hardly want to see their commercials running alongside anti-war, anti-capitalist, anti-globalization protest coverage. |

actually, those who try to seek revenge on me because they think i don't deserve everything i've been given- are DUMB. those who (go the extra step) and invade my privacy- are DUMB. |
Bush is invading your privacy,he is listening to every one of your phone calls and he could arrest you as a terrosist anytime and throw you in jail with no trial. |

yeah what I was thinking.:p this is pure corporate advertising and nothing else.I feel bad for all those people who were there to show their reaction and their anger towards the GOP but didnt get any damn coverage at all. The media just pretented it was business as usual and it wasnt worth covering those damn Liberals. |
