Are you at work today?? I thought the University was close. ( to get access to my building during this rest of the week was a bitch, so all my stuff is on hold)..

Even yesterday when the small protest was passing by the building the Police locked the building and we couldn't get in....

yes. the uni is closed (i don't know for what goddamn reason that is). nothing is happening in the area. everyone just wanted a damn holiday.

i went through the stupidness to maintain my access. took like two weeks of paper work. so dumb.

To be honest it is not really conspiracy. I mean look they have to somehow justify the billion god damn dollars security costs for all this otherwise Harper is ed the next election. Dont be surprised if the Police instigate the violents first.

Hmmm g20 weekend seems like a great time to pack up the car, get out to the cottage and get some work done. Maybe hunt a little.

The security force is looking for anything and everything of suspicious nature. Heck even a canoe on the hood could be suspicious cause you may be going to Huntsville to infiltrate.

no it's precisely conspiracy theories!
forewarned = forearmed in this case

like someone said already - we don't really want London bombings here.

They've warned people months in advanced to avoid that area because they're hosting the heads of states. The most important people in the world.

Funny that Swamper wasn't invited...

the use of agent provocateurs is not a conspiracy. Its already been proven and admitted to by the police in canada. It happens every weekend in the entertainment district as well. And who knows where else.

I used to respect the cops. ive been in court voluntarily as a witness on their behalf many times.

Never again. Not after what ive personally witnessed in recent years.

Not all cops are s. And its too bad the good ones get dragged down with the meatheads. But ive dealt with far too many that are and i dont do anything other than be in an area they dont want me to be in (ie entertainment district on the weekend).

I blame 3 things for this. First the cops themselves. Second the political environment which has allowed them to become this way. Third, the general public that fools themselves into thinking that a cops word is gold thus allowing this to happen.

honestly guys, until you go live in one of the former USSR republics, you have seen NOTHING

cops here are sweet angels compared to the brutality and blatant corruption of Eastern European milicia

2) relatively harmless everyday items seized but still unusual enough to cause people to wonder

3) lining them all up along the sidewalk for public display and cameras on scene. Highly unusual move for police dealing with evidence. Especially from a legal defense point of view.

Am i the only one who thinks this is most likely a plant? A sort of agent provocateur move so to speak?

This whole thing looks and smells fishy to me

yup, yup..

I find it so funny watching this real life soap opera unfold..the symbolism around us is so obvious that I have to giggle a little..

I'm just gonna watch this all go down..and maybe partake in a protest or two...peacefully of course.

It's all just a self fulfilling prophecy on the part of the government..they WANT people to get rowdy. In order to keep the sheeple obedient, they need to turn them against those that are speaking out..ahhhhhhh, I love this world..:D :D

Kristina, i dont doubt it at all! But this is exactly why i get so upset. Because if we let them get away with this we will become exactly like the USSR. Everyday we creep closer and closer.

No society ever asks for totalitarianism. In fact, usually totalitarianism occurs when the citizenry is either brainwashed into being complacent, or violently controlled by the authorities/police.

You may not have much to compare to canadawise since youve only been here for a short time, but the cops are much more violent and in your face/abusive than they were even in the 90s. So when i see such a decline like this, it makes me take notice.
