Sure, hate on them all you want. As long as you get they have the right to do that. ;)

Also, we're in some agreement b/c disruption of daily life is an annoyance to me as well, look at when the cops did it.

See I don't blame the cops... initially, on Friday afternoon, it was the protesters marching on College who disrupted the traffic and whatnot

Otherwise well yeah they have a right lol not like I can take it away - I'm just bitching about their tactics.

boo ing hoo... trying being in lockdown for two days, and told when you try to get out of the red zone to turn back because " if you go outside this fence we (TPS/RCMP/Montreal Police) cannot garuntee your safety."

Easily - my friend living in a condo by Front street was advised not to leave their place the entire weekend, by car or by foot, also for safety reasons.

anything else?

ok how about being harassed by the general public as im on my way to work b/c they see TORONTO 2010 on a black string around my neck. as if I am the reason this mess came and ruined the reputation of 'Toronto the Good'. i have bills to pay too. i could've opted out of acredation which would've left me with no income for two weeks.. harassment on the street and in the subway because i cook ing food. but it doesn't stop there.. inside the 'compound' there's more harassment from RCMP, CSIS, TPH, Health Canada. every 15 feet having to stop ( no matter how busy i am, my crew last nite fed 3500 people in a 4 hour period) so that what ever truck/cart/hot box has to be opened and poked into and produce my badges.. i passed one guy 15 times in a 2 hr period, and every time, i got blocked by an automatic weapon untill i pulled out the acredation which i need to keep tucked in lest i get sent home by Health Canada for potention food cross contamination. as well as putting in 50 hours of overtime.

wow yeah awesome reply right there buddy

I'm pretty sure I was talking from a point of view of the whole area, not just me - I would like to see what you'd have to say if you had bunch of strangers marching up and down your street, as well as smashing everything on their way
but clearly some things just go over people's head.

I can actually attest to this. A good friend of mine was hired in the same security group and he told me they did about 3 hours of work in the 12 hour shift, and then went on to tell me his "legendary story" of how he banged some chick also working there DURING his shift.

you are right...they have a right to protest and stand up for what the believe...but they do not have the right to disrupt the lives of other citizens and to make them fear leaving their own houses. If they want to go hold signs on the corner and stand there looking like idiots...go right ahead...but don't block traffic and become disturbers. Go ahead and stand in front of the parliament and chant and burn bras or whatever else they think will get their message heard. The reality is none of these tactics do to get things done.....this isn't the 60s....all they are doing is putting themselves in a position to get thrown in jail.

I can see or hear anyone protesting anything...all I see is a group of people try to provoke an action from the police....yeah way to get a message across.
