That’s very true, walking on the street is a crime . you continue to support the Police actions but I got bad news for you buddy it isn’t looking good for the Police everyday that goes by. Chief Blair made an ass out of himself today and believe me he will have no choice but to resign you watch.

As I previously posted....marching down a street that you don't have a permit for is a crime under the criminal code of canada...with punishment up to 25 years (most unlikely in situations like these).

I do agree that some things done and said by the Chief were stupid and if he keeps running his mouth he should resign.

so you agree that the protesters who marched down streets they did not have permits for should be arrested....it is the law.

needing a permit to protest is a pretty ridiculous concept, and in a lot of ways contradictory to said civil liberty... it's much darker shade of grey

Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair admitted today that there never was a five-metre rule permitting cops to stop and search individuals who came too close to the G20 security perimeter.

Blair said he mislead the public because he, "was trying to keep the criminals out."

The only changes that were made were with regards to property. The Ministry of Community Safety says the cabinet updated the laws that govern entry in places such as courthouses and areas inside the G20 fences.
