unfortunately im very happy that they were. Along with mainstream media being attacked and arrested. Sadly its the only way we are going to get the very public exposure that this deserves.

CTV is really pissed off as u can tell in their reporting

Well if you end up going to that rave and get shot in the leg - then you only have yourself to blame, no?

I really do hope so I really do. We can just pretend nothing happend and let the Police just walk away. There will have to be some serious investigations and I'm sure we will have many lawsuits as well.

Yes this is all laughing matters being discussed. Lets move on..

what often goes un-noticed is the repercussions of this down the line in terms of lawsuit settlements.

a colleague of mine just this week was the recipient of a $19000US class action settlement out of a protest - and subsequent flagrant rights violation - down in DC a few years back(his wife was the victim in this case). yes, police will sometimes willfully violate very clear rights of a democratic society, but at least it's somewhat reassuring to know that there is a reckoning for their tactics that comes down from a higher authority.

however, it begs the question - how much will this summit really cost us?

So many arrest, some are good, some are bad and all is gonna cost a lot of money to deal with it in court.
