Got tickets about a month ago, I'm holding out faith that Alex the Great and co. don't take them seriously enough - They looked good against the Habs tonight though :(

with them losing though, they'll be a bit more hungry for the win aka leafs lose.

The 10 types of Leaf fans (and how to deal with them)

Mr. Mood Swing
Description - This guy's entire mood is based around the most recent Leaf game. Or period. Or shift. When they win, he's convinced everything could still be OK. When they lose, he's despondent. When they lose in overtime, he's not sure how to feel. Thanks, Bettman.
How to recognize him - The wall behind his television has a lot of beer bottle sized holes in it.
What to do if you see one - Assuming the Leafs recently lost (and let's face it, they did), pull the fire alarm and flee the building.

The Realist
Description - This guy is a true blue fan. But unlike the unfair various stereotypes of the passionate fan, he's still able to view the world objectively. His longterm outlook isn't clouded by short-term emotional swings, but rather by a steeley-eyed realism based on a rational analysis of the Toronto Maple Leafs' current performance and chances for future success.
How to recognize him - He shot himself after the Calgary game.
What to do if you see one - Try to wait until after the holidays before you hit on his girlfriend.

lol, that's pretty good

I'm a mixture of the two above

What a fantastic game. The crowd was into it the whole way through and oh boy, did these two clubs ever put on a show.

With the exception of a few choppy moves and a bunch of missed calls it was a pretty clean game (Komisarek is still out, after all) the Leafs played some fantastic AND consistent defense the whole way through, the only weak link was Schenn who should frankly be ashamed of himself for his play.. No idea what Burkie sees in him as a Blueliner that cannot or is afraid to hit is utterly ing useless.

They outshot and outclassed the Caps at every juncture possible, but I'm glad to see that Toskala pulled his head out of his ass and helped contribute to this well-deserved win.
Dior Homme
Didn't see all of the game but the last 9mins of the 3rd to the shootout, they seemed like they deserved the win.

Gotta love the rally-caps! They were chilled and were having fun in OT + shootout.

w0000000000t!

Kessel set the tone in the shoot-out right away and the Leafs never looked back.

Great game!

That's 1 win, lets try and win 4 more in a row so we can actually move up in the standings. With the lacklustre talent that they have (aside from Kessel), they better play a full 60 minutes every game, or they will suffer more times then not. They need someone to play with Kessel, and I don't mean Jason Blake :haha: .

The more I see Kessel the more I dislike him. He can't play defence, he can't make a pass, he is a puck hog, and he only has one kind of shot.
