not sure what you mean here but if you mean that ovechkin is not good or something than you've got some issues. all these talks about crosby here and there, please. ovechkin is much better than crosby. if sidney played on the ty washington and ovechkin learned from the master himself (lemieux) and played on offensive pittsburgh, things would get much worse for crosby in the calder trophy running. agree or disagree, ovechkin is a better player than crosby!

The troubles for toronto in Buffalo continue.....they just can't seem to win there....well hopefully tonight goes better.

If anything more players should be like Ovechkin (personality-wise)! How painfully boring are most hockey players during interviews and whatnot. One guy decides to be proud of his talent and show off a bit and everyone rags on him. And its not like he doesn't have the skills to back it up, when was the last time you saw a rookie perform like he has, Bure (like everyone compares him to)? Thats over 10 years ago.

I read something interesting.During this weeks Lightning vs Canadiens game Lecavalier did some razzle dazzle with the puck. Some of the younger
players on the Habs were impressed. This pissed off Kovalev and he gave them .The next play Kovalev got the pucked and played keep away in spectacular fashion. He then went to the Lightning bench and told Lecavalier,"This is my rink,my fans,my show and don't you forget it"When I read that in the paper I told myself this is the kind of stuff we need in the new NHL.Rivalry based on skill has been lacking for a while.Props to Kovalev.
