Luke Schenn has been a leaf the longest out of any players on the team.

Lol @ binghamton. If the leafs can have another good week like last week then we'll be in much better shape. It is sad to say that the only time we've had a winning record was when we started the season going 4-0. And the closest we've had to a .500 record is 2 points.
But anyway kessel has performed way better than seguin, so if even if seguin has a mediocre season this year and last, we still win. After that is a different story. Edmonton made a good choice by picking hall.
I've met seguin for a short time and he seems like a prick, prior to him going to boston. |

potential should always be considered when making moves...but bad season or not kessel scores goals. Seguin isn't a lock for that yet.
Eric Brewer to Tampa for a 2nd round pick.
the East is beefing up folks. |

Because this year's draft is going to suck ass. Burke knows this, so I wouldn't be surprised if he made a move for a top center with the leverage he's acquired the last couple of days.
The rumour I've been hearing is Spezza to Toronto for a) a 1st round 2011 and 2nd round 2012 pick or b) J.S. Giguere and 2nd round 2011 pick.
Either way, I'm excited to hear what Burkie has in store. |

i would be surprised if they did choice b simply because they just traded goaltenders with colorado. they also have leclaire and lehner in their system.
I would like to see Burke do some deals with other teams rather than anaheim and boston. its becoming uninteresting at times.
Mark this day on your calendar, MARCH 19th... Kaberle comes home to play!
Give him the respect he derserves, and hope the fans give him a standing ovation! |

While you're right, it's all about a refresh or reboot - Murray is going to slash and burn until there's nothing left. Let's face it, Leclaire is as reliable as a soup sandwich and Giguere has at least a good 4 years left in the tank so this makes sense to me. He has to create a real sense of change and of the three guys he's saying that he won't move (Spezza, Alfredsson and Karlsson), Alfredsson would be too costly a move and would leave a real talent vacuum. That's what makes me think that he's actively looking to offload Spezza and his big fat contract and Toronto CERTAINLY has the cap space now that Versteeg and Kaberle were sent packing.

Kabba has always been one of my favourite players - a class act on and off the ice. I'll miss him terribly. |
