| from what i saw on sportscentre today, it seems that they played well but lost. sounds like a win win situation for me. |

| if they were smart they could still go after tavares. They have no farm team (it plays in the nhl), so the longer they go without an impact player, the longer i am going to get to chuckle. |

Don't be surprised if they fall off dramatically during the second half of the season....I don't know if they can catch the Islanders though. Burke will be having a sale-a-thon of players in the second half. He needs to get back some of those draft picks. |

we're 1 spot out of a lottery pick. tavares is still possible, and after the deadline we'll suck even more just as chemmy mentioned.
Tavares, Hedman, Cowen, MSP, Duchene, Kane.... heck even baby bro Brayden Schenn would be great to have on this team. |
