good first game for Lupul
The best thing happened for him...he didn't get any goals....if he would have scored a couple goals then leaf fans would think he was the second coming of Gilmore |

good game overall for the leafs. It was kinda boring but thats how jersey plays.
Leafs came out with a point and are only 7 out of the playoffs. Its an uphill climb but with the effort they have been displaying its not out of the realm of possibility |

If they can grab points out of the Montreal game, this would be an ideal week, but still have work to do to climb up to atlanta. if anything, they might finish 9th or 10th overall.
lupol still have to work with his line mates, which should work out over the next 2 weeks.
btw, kovalchuk won that out of the phaneuf trash talking. he must feel good. 40sec left out of OT! |

the leafs are not as bad as they played tonight...which isn't saying much, but this has to be one of the worst efforts i have seen from a team in awhile. They had no life at all in them. |

after tonight they are i think 0-14 on the powerplay against montreal.
they could not set anything up. montreal didnt play great, they played well enough to keep a goal away from toronto. no one brought their game to montreal, they might as well go shopping tomorrow on st. catherines. |
