I am expecting Burke will make two deals before the deadline day that won't be big. Thus, we'll be in the same position or worse. Let the good times roll.
I haven't put my Leaf flag on my car for 6 years now.... im itching to use it BTW. |

The Leafs suck with Kessel. The Kessel trade was a HUGE mistake. The leafs would have been better off holding onto those draft picks. Kessel is a good piece of the puzzle on an already good team. By the time the leafs are even a decent team Kessel's contract will be up and he will have moved on to better places. Burke has set back the team at least 5 years because of this retarded trade. I still believe this will go down as one of the top 5 all time worst trades in NHL history. |

Criminal charges against the man who threw waffles on the ice during a Toronto Maple Leafs game have been dropped. Instead, Joe Robb will serve five hours of community service.
Robb, 31, was charged with mischief to property after throwing the pastries during the third period of the Leafs 6-3 loss to the Atlanta Thrashers on December 20.
Afterwards, the stonemason from Oakville insisted he had done nothing wrong.
Robb still faces a lifetime ban from Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment venues, which will be decided separately.

What little respect I had for MLSE is completely gone now. This guy shouldn't have a life time ban from MLSE venues. What hypocrites they are. If Kessel scored a hat trick and people threw their hats on the ice they wouldn't get banned. If he would have thrown the waffles on the ice while play was still going on then I could understand but he didn't. You MLSE |
