Yes, although the thought of losing is always in the back of my mind I still give them a chance each time they play.
They played really well offensively and defensively. Their goal scoring seems to have a lot more finesse and skill rather than just jamming the puck in the net (typical fashion). Their speed coming off the blue line and cross ice passing has improved and they seem to work a lot better together as solid lines compared to early on in the season. Which is why I think they did so bad at the beginning. Too many people were new, some left and some just cracked the line up.
Toskala made some really good saves which was the difference of holding down atlanta 2-1 or 3-1 etc. I didn't watch the 3rd but apparently he let in 2 softies between the legs. Which still shows some inconsistency in the game overall. Still happy they won. |

boston dominated till the 3rd period. leafs scored twice to make it 3 - 2, stajan almost tied it but hit the post, so damn close. blake got a penalty and boston scored, game over. impressive rally to try to win, but too late. |
