| Oh, and spell "leaves" right. As in, "Oh, look at these Maple leaves all over the ground," and "Hey, look at how bad the Maple Leaves are at playing hockey," or "Oh dear lord some thiefs broke into my house and stole all my precious leafs fan memorabilia!" |

The Maple Leafs is always wrong. 100% of the time.
What do you call a singular Maple "Leafs" player? A Maple Leaf? Now what's the plural of leaf....yaaaaaaaaaay English!
I think they'd get entirely more street cred around the league if they change their name to the Toronto Maple Leafz.
And Chem, the whole team being named after the Maple Leaf Regiment of WWI is just a story, and there's nothing to prove that.
Moral of the story is, your team sucks. |

carey price not only has better numbers than miller this year, but will also be playing playoff hockey while miller golfs:)
na na na na na?:p
you can keep miller. |

Miller's stats are a far cry from any indication of his obvious skill declining at all. The Sabres defense is an abomination with the exception of Tyler Myers.
Carey Price is an average Goalie at best. This is the first season he's ever had over 25 wins in 4 (mostly) full seasons at the NHL level, not to mention his stellar 13 win season last year. I bet if you polled every team in the NHL 100% of teams other than the Habs would want Miller, and if the Habs had any sense, they'd want him too. He's 3rd in the league in GA even though they have one of the worst defenses in the NHL. The Habs actually have a good team around Price.
Also, the season isn't even close to being over, and the Sabres are less than 5 points out of a playoff spot.
ALSO, who names their team after the entire country's population? Oh, wait...

The Sabres owner is Tom Golisano and he's from Rochester, so I highly doubt he'd ever move the Sabres. I'm quite sure you know nothing of what you speak at this point. Probably just one of those Leafs (sic) fans who can't seem to realize that their team is terrible and will probably always be the worst Canadian team in the NHL. It's too bad the Leafs (sic) haven't made the playoffs since 2004, eh? Since then the Sabres have only won their division twice and the President's trophy once, when they finished the season with 13 more points than the Leafs' (sic) franchise record.
In summation, the Sabres are better than the Leafs (sic), they will be for the foreseeable future, and the only reason anybody cares about the Leafs (sic) is because they're not quite as bad as the Blue Jays and Raptors. |

you sound like a hurt fan of a team and nothing else.
Miller is one of the best goalies in the nhl playing for a horrible team.
Carey has never played a full season and has always shared the workload. This is his first year playing these type of minutes.
The Habs have lost their top 2 d men for the season, yet are among the best in the league at defense. This isn't the blue line playing well...this is Carey Price carrying the whole team on his shoulders. No Price, no playoff spot...that simple. Can't say the same thing for Miller, because Buffalo is horrible.
Miller = 211 wins at 30 years old.
Price = 87 wins at 23 years old...do the math.
even with the games in hand...Buffalo is golfing this year. book it.;)
Is all you have against the Habs the name? Because last time I checked the Habs only put up banners if they win the cup, and aren't so desperate to put up a banner that they will celebrate an adams division championship that happened sometime in the 80's.
give me a break. |

i bet they put up a banner for being presidents trophy winners.
*claps mightily*
it must be hard being desperate to find something to be proud of in a team that has never won a single championship. |
