After One Period
Toronto 1 Ottawa 0
Just because it is the first game I can't wait to post.
5 on 5 - Ottawa had the advantage here in the first period. They definately dominated the offence.
Power Play - Toronto had the advantage here....their powerplay looked well organized and ottawa looks scattered
Short Handed - Once Again the advantage to Toronto. They played well positioned and kept ottawa out of the middle.
Goaltending - Definately Toronto...by a long shot. Belfour looked amazing the first period
When I saw Chara beating the Crap out of Lindros I thought lindros was done after less then a period. Glad to see lindron going into the corners but not a good idea.
I hope Sundin is alright...he has had a previous problem with that area and the last thing toronto needs is their captain gone after one period.
Okay.....back to the game
After Two Periods
Toronto 1 Ottawa 0
5 on 5 - Hands down that went to Toronto....ottawa a huge one shot on net.
Power Play - Advantage Toronto again.....they are looking good and they have a 5-3 going into the third....I see goal number two coming shortly
Short Handed - Again advantage Toronto
Goaltending - that period goes to Ottawa....only cause Belfour get a chance to have a nap with only one shot.
No Sundin in the second period.....oh boy. |
