************ of our standing, the hockey market in Toronto is uningdeniably a gold mine.

That is exactly the problem with the Leafs though. Do you really thing any owner (especially the Teacher's Pension Plan) is going to shell out the money to get a quality manager and the players necessary to make a run at the cup when it can't possibly improve their bottom line? Hell no! That's why Toronto hasn't really challenged for the cup since the late sixties. Ballard had it figured out.... don't get good players because the arena will be sold out everynight whether they win or lose and CBC doesn't pay extra if Toronto wins. It sucks ass but what is the incentive to put a winning team on the ice? Until we stop supporting the Leafs they will always be a substandard team.

BTW, I now consider myself an Ottawa Sens fan.

I would like to see the stats for all games between Montreal and Toronto....that is the only way you can tell who the better franchise is.

And all this talk about toronto sucking ass this year......no they suck ass this year....but Montreal has sucked as much ass as toronto has.....if montreal even makes the playoffs....which I highly doubt they will because Atlanta is just on fire....montreal will go nowhere because they don't have a true starter in net.

And just for the record....toronto has not had a parade for winning a series in the playoffs.

Go Expos Go oh wait....sorry...you guys don't support your teams

ya they do; the Habs sold out EVERY game this season and are struggling to make the playoffs. Someone said something about supporting losers? :)

Wow, you guys are getting intense about this.

When did Hockey become a debate?

We all have our favourite, and lease favs.

All teams suck @ times, but thats how it goes. Sure the NHL always has it's star teams. But why get so frustrated and argue? Neither of you will win because you both have an opinion that wont be changed, nor should it be changed. You like who you like for a reason, and that should not be argued.

Well all you do is make MTL fans riot, which gets both sides ( Leafs & Habs) worked up over nothing. You say something, he retaliates, then it makes you argue more, which shouldnt happen anyway. Meh, sports should be fun to enjoy not something to get over worked about. Not just hockey, but any sports..even..golf! LOL bababaagagagaggagaahahahahhahaa!

Fun questions

1.Which city has a parade when they lose?:stongue:
2.Last Canadian team to win the cup?
3.Between Mtl and TO which has seats available that the average fan can afford?
4.is baseball even a sport or is it just curling with no ice?
5.Which team boasts more players in the hall of fame?
6.How many stanley Cups has your favorite team won in your lifetime?

-atlanta is on fire but we are 3 points ahead and tied for seventh place. If anything New Jersey wont make it.

-The Habs will not make it past the first round true.We are 7 million under the salary cap and have an extra goalie to trade. We can improve while the leafs are stuck with paying old useless veterans that no one wants therefore have no cap room to play with.

-Ive been to the Air Canada Center 3 times for hockey and can safely say the attitude is too corporate and boring.Nothing like the Bell Centre...I have more fun seeing a hockey game in Buffalo. How many true leafs fans are there that can afford tickets.

-Frenchina this is just friendly playing....mtl vs toronto has always been sort of a rivalry. We have beaten you guys so many times throughout the history of the sport you would figure we would tire of rubbing it in....We havent.:toothless

Ps i love you infinity high....although he flames back i think he is the only one that gets it.:thepirate
