Halak named NHL player of the week. No surprises here:D
He stopped 180 out of 186 shots this week in 4 wins, including a shutout. The goalie situation is awesome for us right now, and Halak's value as trade bait for a goalie strapped team just keeps on rising.:)
This team might just get a kick ass second line because of it.
The Leafs did not play all that great. The Habs always get outshot, and while Toronto did have good scoring chances, most of the output was harmless. When you have a few snipers like we do, we only need 1 shot to win.
We have the best PP in the league and the 7th best PK. This is a team that lives to capitalize on a mistake and steal some this way.:) |
