I am not a Leafs fan, but I bet a few of my friends $50 that the Leafs will make the playoffs. So they better not let me down. This could be a potentially good payout come April 2011.

| The Leafs have improved very little from last year and I don't think enough other teams in the East have gotten worse. I predict they will finish between 11-14 in the East. |

thats probably why tsn didnt post the headline to begin with.

i would not call myself a hater...sure i don't like the leafs, but my participation in this thread has always been objective as a hockey fan. I don't let loyalties cloud my judgment.
5th in the conference is hilarious, boston is getting a top 3 pick again this year:(
if they stay healthy they could be close to 8th...but we all know now that these days the difference between 8 and 12 can be only a few meager points. |

yeah...I have them pegged between 11-14th in the East. They are going to have a lot of low scoring close games this year but the don't have the offensive punch they need to get into the top 8. They haven't picked up a single top 6 player in the off season. As much as I like the players they picked up they are not top 6 players on an even average NHL team.
Where are the goals going to come from? They have maybe two 20+ goal scorers on the team and after that its downhill fast. |
