I am tired of Sundin.......I would be more then happy to trade him and free up some cap space....I've already said it numerous times....Toronto will not win Lord Stanleys Cup while he is with the team. Let him go play for a contender and let us get someone who can lead the leafs to victory

but the difference, all the money went to a charity org.

bigger difference is the fact that the cup final in 93 was in colour!!

contrast that to 67...in black and white

40 years and counting

tick tock tick tock tick tock....

hopefully they'll win in some of your lifetimes...

Yea, fifth overall in league scoring doesn't mean much, huh? :wtf:

I could care less if he was first overall....the reality is....Toronto will not win the stanley cup in the next two or three years. Sundin will be 36 before the end of the season and reality is...he is not the same player he was at 26. Toronto has to start thinking about the future and not keep dinosaurs like Sundin around...we all know that Toronto will sign Sundin to another contract and because so many illogical leaf fans want to see him retire as the captain Toronto will keep him around...meaning the team gets nothing for a one time number one player.

To many fans are just happy that the team makes the playoffs....and that is stupid....the only goal the team and the fans should have is to win the stanley cup. If the management doesn't truly believe that they will win the cup this year then start doing something about it. The only real asset that Toronto has right now that can truly help the team is Sundin. Get something for him now if you can. He does have a no trade clause and he is a huge salary so obviously it will be hard to move him but get something for him now that will help you five or six years from now when Toronto may actually have a chance at the cup. If you are a true fan of Sundin then you would want to see him leave Toronto and go to a real contender because any player...who is being honest....will tell you they want to win the cup.

I think that the leafs are going to do good this year. They have a better coach and man Kaberle is doing awesome. Don't worry leaf fans, this is OUR year!!!
