I think Toronto is once again in serious trouble.....at first I thought they improved their goaltending situation but from what I've seen so far it may have gotten worse.
Toskala goes down way to often and way to early. I like the fact that he likes to challenge shooters but he does it too soon and then he's out of position....it may have worked before as he had better defence.....Toronto doesn't have the defencive abilities to help him out.
Kilger has really impressed me in the pre-season games.
What is with all these injuries already....if any Toronto team could stay healthy it would be amazing. It must be something in the water.

Toskala will be just fine. He is too good a goalie. He needs some time to get used to his new team, new defensemen, etc.
Raycroft seems like same old Raycroft in the preseason. He will be the backup soon enough.
Overall though, you cant judge too much from the preseason. A lot of guys tend to hold back bc they dont want to risk getting hurt. Ill wait about 10 games before i start to judge performances.

exactly. i think he has to adjust to the new settings as this defence is definitly not the same one he had in SJ.

Toskala has looked good in his first two starts......the leafs need to get their defence game working better....and more scoring from other lines.....Tucker has gone back to his garbage self.....I really wish they'd get rid of him.....he is nothing but a one trick pony.....if he gets 15 goals this year I would be surprised.

great game yesterday. very entertaining. toskala was on his head making those saves last night. without him, we would've lost the game no doubt. too bad he was the 3rd star.
