most snipers tend to be "pieces of the puzzle" more than franchise players, unless they are just out of this world like an Ovechkin.
Take Brett Hull for instance, had he not played with players like Modano and Adam Oates, he would not have been as successful as he was due to being a 1 dimensional player. |

It's not unusual to look really bad in back to back games. The entire schedule this year is messed up with back to back games because of the Olympics. They play Friday and Saturday again....4 games in 5 nights is too many. |

Wow poor effort last night, they are playing really horrible in the last ten, doesnt even look like they are trying.
I am now with you Chem, Kessel has been horrible, his first 15 games were amazing, where has that gone?
Oh yah, when your the only good player on the team they will shut you down. |

Kessel needs to change up his style. You can't keep doing the same two things every time you get the puck and expect it to work. All the teams know what he does and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to stop him. |

EVERYONE blocks his shots now. He always gets the puck on a power play, holds it then walks in a couple steps and shoots it right into the defender's shins. I've seen it happen a dozen times. |

so people are finally starting to see what I saw after just a few games.
Even the coach has said that Kessel is predictable....and that isn't good. Hopefully the coaching staff will work with him on changing things up. The team also needs to stop trying to get him the puck every two seconds. It's very obvious on the power play. All the players are trying to get the puck to Kessel. Kessel is set up in the wrong spot on the power play. He needs to be down by the side of the net....same place Tucker got all his goals. |

| I agree. His placement is way off. His quick release is better where, as you said, Tucker used to camp. |

| What in the is wrong with Kessel. Twice in the last minute and a half he makes a B line to the top of the circle and takes a snap shot. Even the announcers said they have never seen him take a slap shot. Kessel needs to be sat down to think about how stupid a player he is. I would trade him for skate guards for the rest of the team....what a garbage player he is. |

Missed the game. I'll have to check highlights.
Too bad the Leafs channel on youtube only has 6 min recaps of games they win.
So lame. |
