so JS gets a shut out in his first game as a leaf....only the second goalie for Toronto to ever do that.

Pretty impressive.
Jersey didn't bring their A game, but I think even if they did, the way TO was playing, the would have kept pace.
I'll wait until the rematch on friday to really judge if tonight was a fluke or not. |

So I was bored and decided to calculate how much Phaneuf gets paid per minute he plays. He makes 6.5 million per year and assuming he plays all 82 games and averages 25 minutes of play time per game...he would make $3,170.73 per minute played.
Also figured out that Alex Rodriguez makes $22,633.74 per inning assuming he plays every inning in every game.
It would take me approximately 65 years to make what Phaneuf does in one year. |

That's what happens when you go pro so quickly. No schooling involved. Kessel can't seem to put sentences together most of the time. So he'll use the same material he used in yesterdays interview lol. |
