Most recent rumors are the leafs are interested in using their newly acquired first round picks to get Stephen Weiss out of Florida to play with Kessel.
I like the trade but Florida would have to be run by a retarded Sloth to actually agree to that deal. |

I've heard rumors that Montreal is interested in McCabe but they would have to agree to an extension first.
McCabe would be a good fit in Montreal right now. |

We're 6 points out of a playoff spot. And 2 points from being 9th. If only we had one that brutal Ottawa game we would have been sitting somewhere better!
On the other hand if we can muster 3 points out of Montreal on Thursday and Pittsburgh (gonna be tough the way they are playing), I think we'll be in good shape for a playoff push.
This is all under the assumption our team is the same BEFORE any acquisitions on trade deadline. I hope they sign MacArtchur for a 2 year... probably 3 million.
Yes its a longshot and sounds pathetic, but its a desperate cry to use my car flag which hasn't been done for 6 years now. |

| The three games before the trade deadline will mean everything. If they can come out of those three games with 3 points then I can see burke doing something to get a centre at the deadline. If they flop then I expect to see a few players go bye bye. |
