Kessel isn't selling jerseys in toronto so I can't imagine there is a big market for him outside of Toronto.
If anyone should go it should be the guy who cleans the jerseys.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the 28-year-old defensive powerhouse was named in a police report filed by a woman who claims the whole thing went down after Komisarek decided to lift her up in the air at a Hollywood nightclub.
We're told the woman claims she demanded Komisarek put her down -- but he refused -- so she slapped him in the face. The woman claims Komisarek immediately set her down ... and then punched her in the face, causing her to bleed.
"Komisarek decided to lift her up in the air." Lesson learned: Never pretend your date is the Stanley Cup unless she tells you she's willing to be the Stanley Cup.
The Leafs played in Los Angeles on Monday, Jan. 10. Komisarek played 13:22 and was credited with three hits.
We've contacted the Leafs for comment on what's a very serious accusation, and will update if and when that occurs.
Not sure what's more of a downer about this story: That the NHL ended up on TMZ for anything but celebrity romance or that this is the second Toronto Maple Leaf in the last year accused of punching a woman in the face. Not assigning guilt or innocence in either case; just saying it's not exactly good for the 'ole image.

I was listening to the FAN590 and I'm so sick of retarded Leaf fans saying the reason they don't put a winner together is because we keep going to the games and if we stop going then they will have to put together a winner. That is the most retarded piece of logic in today's NHL. When Ballard was running things sure.....but now its bull. They spend to the cap every year, and they are in the top tier of spending for management, coaches and scouting. There is no logical reason not to want to make the playoffs.....it only means more revenue.

So Burke has always said that he builds a team from goaltender outward....which in theory is a good idea. The problem is, the goalkeeping is even more cloudy now. You have three goaltenders going for the number one spot and not a single one of them has proven themselves to be a number one goaltender this year. You then have the defence which has arguably gotten worse since Burke took over. I don't think Burke needs to be fired but he needs to come out and say he ed up and provide Leaf fans with a realistic view of the next 5 years.
