I agree that the Leafs don't have that great of a team. I've NEVER been a big fan of Raycroft, and he still hasn't shown that he is in his Calder Year form...
But i'm not going to jump all over the for the past couple weeks. Of course there are many week spots that they need to fix before they can become a competitive team w/ the rest of the division/conference.
I hope they get regain some confidence and start winning some games. Sure they might not make the playoffs, but I gotta keep myself entertained somehow...and I don't want to have to rely on our Raptors for that. |

ouch, you hit me where it hurts :)
Raps have been a huge disapointment for me this season.
I just wish the Toronto TV market showed more Sens and Habs games. That's the real reason I hate the Leafs. They're shoved down your throat anywhere in Eastern Canada. |

do u really expect to see sens/habs games in toronto when the leafs are playing?
i dont think i would expect to see kings games if i lived in the san jose or anaheim area or any team for that matter if i didnt live in that area. |

I wouldn't say that I expect it .... but the sens/habs don't play only when the Leafs do. ie. there are days where the Leafs are not playing, and the other teams are ... it would be nice to see those games on TSN/SNET/CBC rather than the PPV type sens tv etc. |

well if you look at the schedule and what channels the sens/habs games are being broadcasted on, you'll see that they are also specific to their own region. i dont see one leafs game on RDS which plays on habs games. same with the sens, they play mostly on sportsnet east while the leafs play on sportsnet ont.
so if i was a leafs fan living in montreal, i could say that all they do is shove the habs down my throat.
and sometimes tsn does show sens/habs games during the week. just this past week as i recall both teams were show on tsn. but the cbc cant since it only plays games on sat., and the leafs always play then. so its up to tsn and snet to provide those. |

oln, abc also show games
none of those channels are torontocentric.
All I'm saying is that I don't like seeing only Leafs games (on basic cable) (generally). I grew up in Kingston ... which is about equadistnat between Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, and all I ever saw was Leaf games. That sucks balls.
And for the records, I'm sick of watching the Bills too. |

the Leafs are one of the richest teams in the nhl.....they have nuff money to buy at least 2 Stanley Cups......but we the fans are cracked....we still sell out the ACC even if there last in the league....we gotta stop give them are hard earned money.....
I also believe the upper management the ppl we dont really hear bout are the 1s we should fire....I believe there the ones ing us.... |

Thats one advantage of living in such a digital era.
NHL Centre is great for those who need want to watch games outside of the coverage. And its not that expensive! If you think about it..its cheaper to buy Centre Ice to go see 1 game live @ the ACC |

at one time I would agree with you but with a salary cap it doesn't matter how rich you are. If the Rangers showed us anything...you can't just buy the best players and expect them to win. |
