If you wanna try something like the 7509, you have gotta try the Beyerdynamic DT250-80 or the Ultrasone HFI-650...
Check out www.meier-audio.com
And, of course, read my .sig :) |

That's right Technics al the way. I'm so glad I bought 1210's!
I've now tried V700's and HD - 280's and Technics wipes the floor with them for DJing! THe V700 and HD280 are way to big as well.
Anyway anyone got any idea what headphones PVD has in the video clip for 'We Are Alive'?
They are fricken monsters! Like boxes on the side of his head. What are these? OR were they specially made just for the clip so you could tell he had headphone on? |

| All i'll say is, im listening to Perfecto Flouro, via Sennheisser HD25s, and its a rather pleasant experience. The only problem thought, is that i can hear the horride recording jitters, and track markers... suffice to say, these 'phones do-me well... although the new Pioneers i did try this weekend were nice... but thats a very, brief impression of them. And that was mixing, not listening. |

Another friend of mine, who sometimes hangs around those audiophile headphone forums, and who is a devoted Etymotic ER-4S fan, has decided to order those IXOS MoS DJ1001 headphones for DJing. They cost $130 on Best Buy's Web site.
I have yet to hear from him, since he hasn't received those 'phones yet. |

Yep. They typically sell for $90 to $100 at pro-audio shops across the USA. And that $100 is just about the highest price point that I'd recommend so-called "bedroom DJ's" to spend on headphones. |

i've wanted to ask for your help about a headphone situation...:
i have the sennheiser 280 for about 3 months and i think they are really great for listening and djing at my room and other that kind of crap.
i've recently played in a club and i could hardly hear the beats through my headphones, even though the levels of the cue where high, i could hear that the sound starts to distort in my headphones but i couldn't hear the beats well.
i've decided to purchase another pair, but i have a budget problem since headphones in Israel cost way much higher than in other places...
so these are my options:
Sony MDRV 700 Dj - Crappiest option
Sennheiser HD-25Sp (is that the cheaper model ???)
Technics RPDJ1200/1210.
Which One's the best ???? i've heard that the technics are great and seen many dj's here using them...
i've also used the Hd-25sp and they are superb...
help me choose please !!! |

| I would get the Sennheiser HD25 (not the 25SP) or the Technics dj1200. |
