Gluegun, I finally gave up looking for the KSC-35's and purchased themn from Headroom. Just sitting tight for them to arrive in the mail...

Getting excited!

Will let you know what I think of them when they arrive.
Gluegun
Awesome! You just bought the best little exercise headphones on the planet, lol! Use them well, alright? I especially like the wide open sound that something *this* small gives, and the physical impact you get from these awesome drivers touching your ears... When you want to upgrade to something big, open, and audiophile, get those Philips SBC-HP890's, alright? They're awesome too...

Me again...

What are Headroom like when it comes to processing orders? They verified my order and took my money 6 days ago, but the item still has not been sent.
Gluegun
Uh, oftentimes, the headphones get sent before you get notification that they got sent. They are having some technology problems right about now, with notification and such, but don't be surprised if they get to your door before you hear about them being shipped, lol.

Uh, they are having some email troubles, but you can still email them.

If worst comes to worst, give them a phone call via the 800 number... or you can fax them at this number:
406-587-9484.
also, consider posting on this forum if you really have to:

In fact, the president posted what happened in a reply in these forums, in this link:

Anyway, you don't REALLY have to worry, but if you need to contact them, you have plenty of ways to.

Just a quick question... you pretty much sold me on the V6's, but I have two quick questions. Do they isolate really really well (are there any other headphones that are better in this area)?
Also, do they fit snugly on the head?
Gluegun
The Sennheiser HD280 Pro's isolate more. Both are plenty snug and tight for DJ use.

Check shopping.yahoo.com for distributors of both.
Michael Russo
Is the difference in isolation really that big? Will I be able to notice it?
Gluegun
Oh hell yes.... 32 dB is a *huge* amount to isolate... most closed headphones (V700's, what have you) get maybe 15 db.... the Etymotic ER4S canalphones get 23 db of isolation, and they were pretty much the current 'king'...
Michael Russo
So the HD280's isolate 32 dB? And the V6's isolate 15 dB (same as the V700's)?
Gluegun
Those are estimates, but, essentially, yea, that's right.

Michael Russo
One more thing: Why the sudden price drop of the HD280's?
Gluegun
Uh, they were just released... Sennheiser usually keeps the MSRP's of their headphones a lot higher than they actually sell them for...

Heck, the MSRP if $200, but you can get them for $85 here...
