| Good choice. Stay away from the "EH###" series, though. Also, the HD25 is good, but the HD25SP isn't... but I still suggest that you go with the "HD280 Pro". |

I checked out the HD280 Pro's & they look good on the outside & on paper, I am still on my 30 day no fuss returns with the company I ordered my Evolutions from, so i'm gonna return them & buy the HD280 pro for £57... which is nice.
Anyway thanks for your advice. |

Just received my V-6's yesterday and I am in complete amazement that something with such high quality has the SONY name stamped on it!
I have always avoided buying anything SONY (except their Trinitron FD displays of course ;)) because everything they produce it total $#!%.
Reading the V-6 review in the >>link<< that Gluegun provided explains everything: the V-6's are a carryover from when SONY actually made quality products. The only reason they're still around is because studio professionals demanded it and SONY didn't want to lose the business!
At any rate, I'm sold on the V-6's, they are fantastic! Now to order a second pair before supply runs out...
Thanks Gluegun!
BTW, are the replacement pads worth the extra cost? |

| Oh yea, the pads are well worth the $22 you will pay for them... they are a lot more comfortable, go around your ears, are thicker, don't sweat as much, are softer, etc. etc... |

| Funny I havn't read anything about the Pioneer SE-450's. They're classics! 90% of the professional DJ's used 'em, untill Pioneer stopped producing them... |

| oh hell yea its worth it, go for the pads :) |
