Oh ok, I don't know why I thought that.

Thanks for all your help!

Hey Gluegun, just wanted to say thanks!

The KSC-35's are perfect for my trip to work and back every day. They block out enough sound so I can't hear people, but I can still hear cars etc, so I have no worries about getting run down!

The sound quality is absolutely amazing compared to my last set, I actually have bass now! When I listen to a MD with them, its like I am listening to it for the first time, because I can pick up so much more of the music. I think I'm going to be in for a real fright when I get a pair of Sennheiser's!

All in all I'm very satisfied! Many thanks dude!

So sennheiser hd280 pro is very good in Europe (at the price) for dj-ing. What do u recommend for studio use gluegun?
Gluegun
Uh, for studio use?

Sennheiser HD280 Pro.

Oh, and I figured out that they DO have side swivel..

these suckers are PERFECT for studio, DJ's, whatever... you can get them in U.S. for a little over $80, and you can get them MUCH cheaper in Europe...

These suckers are now my OFFICIAL recommendation for Studio and DJ use!!

how many db do the Technics RP-DJ1200/1210's keep out? I used them a few nights ago and they seemed to keep out quite a bit of sound out even though the speakers were attempting to make me deaf with 350watts!

Also, could someone give me a full description of the Sennheiser EH22000 sound quality (bass, mid, high)? 25db is quite good for blocking sound out with the EH2200's.. but I don't really have that extra US$40 for the HD280's..(which i know i would buy if money fell from the sky)

That 25 dB is a lie, and they are WAY WAY WAY too bright....

Do a search at headwize and head-fi for reviews on the EH2200's...

Oh, and the Technics are known for keeping out an average amount of sound, and they are known for not having much of a midrange...

Can you get your hands on a set of MDR-V6's or MDR-7506's?

What about Beyerdynamic headphones? The DT231 is mediocre, although I hear it's isolation is down there with the EH2200...

Oh, and sennheiser's "new" headphones that they market to DJ's, like the 202's, aren't known for being all that great for DJing... although I don't know for sure...

Here's a review on the subject....

http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showt...p?threadid=7731

Look at this webpage... they are in the middle of updating their reviews, so expect there to be a few contradictions...

Maybe you should email headphone.com and ask which of the low-budget stuff in Sennheiser's new closed lineup has the most isolation for DJ purposes??

i dont think that i am going for the eh2200's anymore since many claim that the -25db is a lie.. that was one of the main reasons. Are there any other headphones that block sound out good at this price range?

But i know that my first preferences now are the MDR-V6 and MDR-7506.. just trying to find online stores in the US that will ship internationally (no prob. with the eh2200)..

Also, is the 7505 the same as the 7506? what are the differences?

thanks a lot GlueGun.. for informing me about the EH2200's! :D

BTW, do the Technics keep out more sound than the V6/7506?

cheers ;)

Because they get paid for wearing them and in return they promote the headphones for Sony which is why people get all excited...
