this mostly is a retarded question, but when you guys are talking about the Sony 7506 headphones, are you talking about the normal 100$ kind or the HD $220 kind

Hey guys, my bro bought me Ultrasone DJ1 headphones for christmas and I haven't really found much discussion about them on the boards... I had the sennheiser 280s before and they were good but these I found were louder, crisper and generally just a more natural, detailed feel to the music. Really satisfied with them thus far but they aren't exactly cheap I don't think. What do you guys think?

I got my pair of Sony 7056 none HD a week ago, and I have to say they are amazing. My friend decided to get the better looking Pioneer 1000's and well he paid an extra 70USD for a pair that are cheaply built compared to the sony, and lesser in quality as well.

I've got the dj1's.

While I think the sound quality on them is excellent, I tend to find when you push the volumes they can distort really badly. I've not tested them out on a loud club system, tbh, i'll probably stick with my technics 1200's for that but for bedroom dj use they are ideal.

My brother got the pro model and I thought they were absolutely awful, they are just so weak sounding I don't see how they could be used for club dj'ing.

my next set of headphones is going to be the sennheiser hd25's.

so is there any chance of someone being able to summarize the past 89 pages lol.... i'd like to get some headphones in the $100 budget and so far it seems like the sony mdr v6's are the only option? im open to some other suggestions...

does anyone have some wise words to share about the pioneer se-dj5000? i've seen a lot of positive reviews online but havn't heard much about them on this forum... im thinking of either these or the sony mdr-v6/7506 which seem very popular here.

Anyone knows or tested out the difference from the regular Technics RP-DH1200 headphones and more expensive Pro model: DH1200-S Pro?
