Surely they're would be a Sennheiser authorised repairer in perth?
Incidentally I sent a pair of HD200s in their box to perth last week and it cost about $7. |

| I got myself a pair of Sennheiser HD-280 Pro's. What you TA's think? Good or bad choice? |

For a DJ these phones are not good, but when it comes to mastering, (use nearfield monitors...) I have really found a winning pair...
MBQuart- QP250 cheap and great
They sound fantastic, it's like wearing nothing at all, and they don't give your ears fatigue.
(I've sold literally hundreds of these and everyone comes back to thank me.)
PS-If anyone talked about these in the last 33 pages (I did NOT take the time to read it all) I am sorry to repeat myself. |

Oooh that silver looks nice :) Are they identical (internally) to the old version? It seems to me like they're marketing them for dj's, which kinda scares me. |

cons

- bass can be a little overpowering
- can become sore after a while with the constant pressing against ears
id say the technis 1200's and these are quite well matched, but id go with the hdj1000's. with the hd25's, it is tougher. the sound on the hd25's is definitely better, however they dont seem quite as flexible. also the price is a biggie. for 125 US i dont think you can go wrong with the hdj1000s! |
Nice, im glad someone was actually able to review the HD1000's and compare them to Senn HD25s.

I know what they are like, since i use the MDR7506's.
But since you waited a while and went to an extent to get them, are they all what peep make them out to be? |

Hi Rickster :) Actually I am still in the process of testing them. I haven't had a lot of time these last couple of days. But tomorrow night I will spin some hours and compare them with my old cans (Sony MDR V500 DJ). What I already can tell you is that I love the fact that they are very comfortable :) So, check this thread tomorrow night mate :D

Of course ATM, they don't sound as good my old Sennys HD-280........but once they are burn in, I will tell you guys the difference
but I can tell the noise cancellation works alot better than HD-280 already

hey guys...the plug just broke off my v700's, so i'm in the market for some new headphones. wanted to know if anyone had some constructive input on *wireless* headphones? can't really find a review of any of the senny wireless models that pertains to dj'ing...on another note, few years back, i saw dave ralph spinning with what looked to me at the time as one-sided wireless headphones. anyone seen/heard anything? am i just crazy?

All the best headphones still use wires as far as i'm aware of and u'll probably end up limiting ur choice a lot if u want wireless ones. Also u could buy a ne plug for ur 700's cut the wire and reqire them urself it isn't too difficult or u could get someone else to do it for you i wouldnt buy a new pair of headphones over breaking the plug |
