Kademony, the things I would change on that list would be to replace the Grado headphones made for mastering with the Allesandro headphones of equivalent grade. (Allesandro = Grados made for professionals).
And you might want to read up on some of the newer closed headphones at www.headphone.com -- the DT831's are losing favor, as other headphones begin to fill the niche they occupied better than they once did...
And of course, there are some headphones that are better for listening to trance and electronica than others... I would prefer the DT770 Pro to the DT831 for electronica listening..
And the undisputed king is now the Sennheiser HD650...
Your info is somewhat good, but also somewhat dated.. read head-fi and headphone.com to see how recent arrivals have changed the scope of things...
Also, you haven't controlled for source quality.. some headphones need an amp, and some headphones sound best with only certain types of amps, and after you pass a certain price point on how much you are going to spend on headphones, it is generally best to buy a headphone and amp combo for a certain budget to get the best sound for your $$$... |

For the all thread everyone recommended 280 pro. Now Kodomony didn't write even a word about them.

I dont think he talked about the HD25's either... like I said, his info is dated. And besides, its only one person's opinion... maybe he just wasnt looking for lower-price options? |

If you are buying headphones for your iPod, go to www.head-fi.org
Tell them a few things, including:
How much money you want to spend, and in what denomination
when, where, and how you plan on using the headphones
where you are located
and
if you are willing to buy online
There are plenty of other things you could tell them, but those would get you started. |

| I used to use HDJ1000s and they were great but I have a pair of HD25s now and prefer them. Both pairs are amazing headphones though and if you buy either you won't regret it. |

How it is about new Stanton DJ-Pro 3000 headphones?
A friend of mine have them, so I tried them and they look good.
Can give me somebody any feedback of them? |

Anyone tried/have the Sennheiser PX100s?
I am thinking about getting them to use with my mp3 player and listen to trance music on my computer. |

I've got them, I love them, but you'd probably need an extension to use them if your sound card is in a computer sitting on the ground next to you. Regardless, they are a fine set of headphones. You might want to also check out the (untried but with a good pedigree) new KSC-75's from Koss. |
