I own a 7506, and honestly i cant believe people like them.
I think if they are the first pair of headphones you buy then i understand.
I use the techinics RPDJ1200a and they are very better sound than the 7506 for djing...
Been wanting to try pioneer hdj2000 though |

r u kidding me? watch your ears is my advice!
i had them before, ended up in a tinnitus (which luckily disappeared when stop using them). WATCH YOUR EARS. The V6 are much smoother that way. |
I just got a pair of Shure SRH750DJ headphones and have the same problem. Ears have been ringing for about a week now. I have never had this problem before and I am not using them at a higher volume than my old Technics headphones. Anyone know what would cause this? Is it the frequency range perhaps? Certainly would not have expected this from Shure. |

ok would the MDR-7506 be good in a studio setting as well as in a club? I need something that will work well in both. Any other suggestions?
Thanks |

The MDR7506 are for studio monitoring, they are more reference headphones to me than anything else.

| the 7506 sucks for anything but djeing or vocal monitoring. dont ever try to do mixdowns with them. |

Anyone have any thoughts on these headphones? I can get them for under $50. My first set of DJ headphones, I'm a newb. Not looking to break the bank. Seems like they would work fine? I've been told by the local music store that an expensive set of headphones aren't necessary since I'm just mixing tracks and not producing. |

I know there have been millions of these threads, but search wasn't bringing any up.
So... I'm also in the market for some new IEs.
Previously I've been loyal to Sennheiser, but I've read mixed reviews on their top-end IEs. I'd like something that is primarily suited to EDM, but also other genres.
Has anyone got any recommendations? I am currently thinking of one of these.
Shure SE535
Sennheiser IE8
Audio-Technica ATH-CK10
or what about Klipsch?
Any info appreciated. |
