damn, this sucks, i broke my sony mdr-150s today :( . so im wondering if somebody can recomend some headphones with better sound, but still around the same price range ($25 usd). |
The closest I would suggest are the Sennheiser HD212 Pro's. Good luck... and try and increase your budget exponentially... |

The Behringer HPX-2000s are fantastic for the price. Just don't buy them expecting for them to be used in a club environment. |

| i just got the 280 pros in the mail yesterday. got em on ebay for like 95 dollars brand new. They take some time to get used to, especially if your coming off of the 700s. The bass is a lot sharper in the 280s, its a kick instead of a thump. But they are definatly better. I will just have to readjust my style a bit. |

Cool. Tell us how it goes! Ya, it's a big change going from "boomy" to "tight" bass... but, as you adjust your style, your beatmatching time should get better, as the sound is more accurate... |

Ill be responsible and add this to this thread, even tho I think it could get its own..
ok so I have th 7506, and I think I remember something about changing the pads.
How is this done? the 'fake leather' on mine is ripping, so I wanted to replace them.
I think there was something about a different shape as well?
any info ShadySlim or Gluegun? |

Basically, pads from a competing headphone from a competing company will fit on the V6's and 7506's.
The headphone is the DT250 from Beyerdynamic, and the pads are the "Velour" replacement pads. Just call Beyerdynamic and order some extra pads. Cheers. |

hey gluegun mr headphone pro
just want some advice.
lookin for some studio monitor headphones for future production
atm, i'm lookin at either the sennie hd280 pros or sony v6/7506.
i'm reading a lot of mixed responses for which is more appropriate etc. that's the price range i'm lookin at. i may used them to mix too as i mix with the high ends which makes everything a lot tighter and these 2 i understand are pretty accurate. i guess i shud go out and listen to them, but i havent as of yet. (too bz. gack.)
thoughts? advice? which 1s are flatter? and if not so flat flat, which end of the spectrum are each on? which 1s will not fatigue my ears over a great duration of time? which ones give a nicer sound, which i might use as portables =p, which 1s easier to power? which 1 dya reckon is sexier? hehehe though if u ask me, they're both ugly as hell.
cheers
