Alright!! It looks like Sennheiser finally came out with a "DJ" version of the HD280 Pro's... kickass... the only difference that I can tell is that they are marketing them as DJ headphones... and they are Silver! WOohoo!! (posting this to all the headphone threads...)

| ^^^ unless they made some mods to the driver itself, i wouldn't buy them again for dj use... for studio monitoring, most def. |

Welll.... that depends on what you are driving them with, whether you beatmatch with hihats or bass beats, what type of place you play at, the ambient noise level, how you wear your headphones, what type of music you are using, etc. etc.
Regardless, they are a *good*, inexpensive, versatile, and now (finally!) stylish set of headphones that are, more often than not, great for DJing! |

Currently using sennheiser 200s but will be upgrading to either
the sennHD280's or the new pioneers or the sennHD25s thanks to this thread.

| i will be getting the new pioneers shortly to replace my trusty philips (hehe)...ill let you know how they are....from what i tested in the shop, they are a little brighter then the technics or the hd25's, however they are more comfortable, feel a little more insulated and the mid/highs are clearer. however the hd25's have the flattest clearest sound and are damn impresive for such small light headfones! i dont like it how they arent easy to swivel though, but i guess you dont need to, you just put them on your head! |

I still don't know which headphone to buy.
I have 200 euro's max to spend.
First I would buy the sony 700 but people say it's expensvie for the quality it delivers and it seems to be not very strong. But at the other hand it's has a nice design and one very important thing for me is that people say sony has as only one filters to protect your ears inside the headphone.
The Technics 1210 also seems to be a good headphone to me a little cheaper but acording to me very good sound. Only al little bit small ears...
The Pioneer HDJ1000. I couldn't test it yet because no local shop in here sells it.
But people say it's the best one this moment.
Are there some guys who have some tips or any other ones who are also very good???
for dj use btw ;) |

now i keep hearing diferent story's .. so one's and for all: what do you hear true the headphones? (don't start laughing already) on the left side the left deck and on the right site the right deck (50/50) or from left and right the left and right at 50/50? or can you switch witch one you hear 100% left deck of 100% right deck??
kind of a stupid question, i know
