When you are refering to the Sony MDR-V6's do you mean the Sony MDR-V600?
The packaging says "Sony MDR-600." Did I get the wrong model? |

Basically.
Send it back unopened for a refund.
The Sony MDR-V600 is about the second worst way to spend your money in the headphone kingdom (the first being those Bose headphones.)
In other words, they suck, they're ing expensive, and they have no bass whatsoever.
Get the MDR-V6. It's oodles better! And cheaper, too!
Where did you order/buy the V600's from? |

For all those people with a bad headphone;
I've got myself a sollid Pioneer SE-DJ5000
Very good sound, just love it.
I can advise everybody to buy this thing...

| You seem to know what your talking about on headphones m8, =). I just bought a pair Sennheiser EH2270's, I don't really DJ, i just mix in Traktor DJ Studio, but whats ur view on the headfones? be honest, Cheers. |

| spectra, I don't care much for any of the Sennheiser EH-22## series; they sound like a headphone that costs much less than what those EH-22##'s sell for - their sound quality is either tinny or honky. They're quite comfortable to wear, however. |

| Everything that I read agrees with what ShadySlim says... |

| I would suggest that, since you are in Europe, go for the Sennheiser HD280 Pro's... should be relatively cheap where you are. Shop around. |
